If you wish to run heavy graphic applications (games and 3D graphics programs) we recommend to connect monitors to your PC via standard video cards. 

*Additional workstations can be added if multiple host controllers are available. Moreover, you can get more workstations per host by combining DisplayLink based workstations with standard video card based workstations.

How does it work?

Simply connect DisplayLink USB device (monitor, docking station, adapter) to your existing/new computer. Install and run SoftXpand and within a few seconds you have got an extra workstation. There’s no easier way to add an extra workstation to your PC!

Example of SoftXpand cluster using DisplayLink USB docking station: Multiple sets of workstations, each consisting of USB docking station, monitor, keyboard and mouse are connected to a standard PC. The USB docking stations are connected to the host PC via USB cable, while monitors, keyboards and mice are connected to USB docking station (via VGA/DVI/USB).
